Martina Garcia-Gamez was born and raised in New Mexico. Martina has over twenty years of immigration law experience and has been employed by John W. Lawit, P.C. since 1991. Martina specializes in employment-based petitions. She has knowledge and experience with the filing of H-1B, L-1A, E-2, TN, O and P non-immigrant petitions, outstanding researcher/professor, employment-based permanent residence petitions to include 1) extraordinary ability, 2) outstanding researchers, 3) multi-national managers, 4) national interest waivers, 5) labor certifications and employment-based adjustment of status petitions and family sponsored permanent residence petitions. Martina plays an integral part in the management of the firm's corporate clients. Martina is a fluent Spanish-speaker.
Prior to Martina's employment with John W. Lawit, PC, she was employed by Catholic Social Services, a non-profit corporation, for six years. During her employment with Catholic Social Services, she gained valuable experience in family immigration law and amnesty. Martina regularly attends seminars and conferences to keep up on the ever-changing industry regulations and the implementation of such regulations into the practice.
